Martine Wiltzius

 

Born and educated in Luxembourg Martine went to explore new fields of study and work in Berlin, Colchester (UK) and Bremen. She became a researcher with the motivation to resolve questions from the scientific culture and to experiment their related practical fields.

Martine’s focus in research and primary field of interest has been the implementation of Gender Mainstreaming strategies in administrations, and Diversity Management in the business sector and in schools.

Working as a trainer for managing diversity, Martine’s main concern is to raise awareness of diversity as an asset in order to stimulate positive forces, so that the members of an organization are stimulated to adopt new ways of cooperation.        

Martine's interdisciplinary working background provides her with broad knowledge, skills and experience. She lectures on managing diversity at the University of Bremen, and at the University of Luxembourg, and she provides training for Diversity Management in educational settings.  

Martine holds a master’s degree in Gender Studies and Educational Sciences (Humboldt University of Berlin and the University of Essex) and recently completed her PhD research project on the implementation of Diversity Management in schools.

Buddhist philosophy, meditation and travels to Nepal are sources of energy and inspiration.
